Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

PourTime is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains exactly what happens to your information.

Who is responsible

PourTime is made by Carlos Martinez, an independent developer. You can reach me at me@carlosmart.co.

What PourTime collects

Nothing. PourTime has no accounts and no sign-in, and it contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. I do not collect, sell, or share your personal data, and I never see it.

Where your data lives

Your recipes, brew settings, and journal entries are stored locally on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, they are also stored in your own private iCloud account so they are available on your other devices. That storage is provided by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy, which offer protections equivalent to those described here. Your data is never sent to my servers or to any other third party.

Third parties

Apple is the only third party involved, and only if you enable iCloud sync. There are no other processors, and no data is shared with anyone for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.

Retention and deletion

Because your data never reaches me, there is nothing on my side to retain, and no consent for you to revoke with me. You remain in control at all times:

  • Delete individual recipes or journal entries inside the app.
  • Turn iCloud sync off in the app's settings to stop syncing.
  • Delete PourTime from your device to remove its local data. To remove synced data as well, open Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, Manage Account Storage, and delete PourTime's data.

Children

PourTime is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I will update the date at the top of this page and describe what changed.
